Plastic water cups are popular with many people, especially children, adolescents, and out-of-town activists, such as agricultural machinery workers, construction workers, and construction workers, because they have the advantages of changeable shapes, bright colors, low prices, and they are not brittle.Experts remind:drinking plastic water cups is not safe for long-term use,and the use of plastic water cups is not  recommended.

The reasons are as follows:First, plastic is a polymer chemical material and often contains toxic chemical substances such as polypropylene or PVC.Drinking water in plastic cups is unavoidable for hot water or boiling water. When plastic water cups are used for hot water, especially for boiling water, toxic chemicals in plastics can easily fall into the water.Drinking such water for a long time will inevitably cause harm to the human body. The second is that plastic water cups are prone to bacteria and are not easy to wash.

This is because the seemingly smooth plastic is not smooth, and the internal microstructure has many small pores. These small voids are easy to hide dirt and can not be washed away by conventional methods.Third, most plastic water cups on the market are made of polycarbonate. Bisphenol A is one of the main raw materials for the production of polycarbonate plastics.Bisphenol A is an internationally recognized substance that can increase the risk of cancer and is related to breast cancer, prostate cancer and precocious puberty.

Its harm to the human body is similar to that of smoking. After ingestion,it is difficult to break down,it has a cumulative effect, and it will be passed on to the next generation.Experiments conducted by the Harvard School of Public Health in the United States have shown that drinking plastic bottled beverages and eating foods stored in plastic containers are the main sources of human BPA intake.
